I don't know why Sasuke is thinking about the "changing mother and father and the Uchiha line in particular". It just reminds me that Sasuke stops mentioning the fate of the Uchiha and is more concerned with Itachi's life rather than both which is what he cared about initially and it doesn't make sense. Unless, of course, we need to minimize the fate of the Uchiha and have Sasuke not mention it anymore lest we remember that it was kind of fucked up and Sasuke's anger was justified and there's no reason he shouldn't still be mad about it which, hmmm...
I don't know why Sasuke's conclusion at this point (which is slightly different from his conclusion right before the Naruto fight...?) is a leadership role when that is not a skillset he excels in nor something he's ever been interested in. Unless, of course, we are forcing Sasuke to be diametrically opposed to Naruto regardless of character consistency which, hmmm...
