A little over this time last year, I had the pleasure of winning a competition hosted by Nicole English on Instagram. All that was entailed was sharing one of her lovely posts for the chance to win a copy of Emily Von Euw’s Rawsome Vegan Baking book. So, much to my delight, I got the book and loved it. Yay! However, about a week later, much to Nicole’s disappointment, about ten more raw vegan recipe books showed up on my doorstep. I was bemused, but also as you can imagine, overjoyed. I thought, “Could this be a message from the universe guiding me further along the raw vegan blogging and info sharing path?!” .... but it turns out that poor Nicole had accidentally sent these to me and the awful thing was that they couldn’t be sent back to her all the way out to Australia.
I felt terrible. But Nicole was so lovely about it and said I could keep them and on her part, she said that she’d simply have to live and learn from the experience. The books I received from Nicole this time last year are all brilliant, and I am so so grateful her her kindness and generosity.
