Raw no more
So I completed my raw week on Monday. Whist being very eye opening, I can say for certain, at the moment, I don't think I'd like to be fully raw. I mean, I enjoyed it. It made me realise that a.) I need to eat more raw. But also b.)...I already eat a lot of raw stuff. Does that make sense? Probably not. I loved trying new recipes and eating shit loads of fruit but I did miss a cooked meal for tea.Â
Jamie found it difficult in the way that he was hungry ALL THE TIME. He usually eats a lot of carbs in the way of rice, wholemeal bread, pasta, potatoes - so he missed them..... and I felt guilty that I couldn't feed him up!Â
In conclusion - Â Raw = good, but not 100% for me. I think I'll aim for a 80/20 split of raw to cooked food. I enjoy a varied diet and although I need improvement, I eat pretty healthy shit.
