Scenes From My Walk - Is This A Raven’s Nest? I spent over half an hour by the tree with this potential nest. I was greeted with 2 different calls one was the higher pitched call the nesting ravens seem to use, the other was the common “Kaaw” squawk ravens are known for. I took photos of many parts of the tree and these were the closest to being a nest. This is near the top of the tree and the raven sounds were definitely from the top of the tree. After some time the raven flew off from the side opposite me. I took this as a sign to move on.
