State Rep. Cavenaugh meeting with Ravenden area Friday

RAVENDEN, Ark. – State Representative for District 60, Fran Cavenaugh, will once again be meeting with the community to create a dialogue so that she can best represent the district in Little Rock.

Repairs coming to railroad at Ravenden

RAVENDEN, Ark. – Repairs are coming to the railroad crossing in Ravenden next week.

This news is according to State Representative-elect Fran Cavenaugh, who said she spoke to Arkansas Highway Department personnel  Thursday and they confirmed that Burlington Northern will be doing repairs to the crossing next week. (more…)

Ravenden man gets 10 years for kidnapping

Henry Boyce, Third Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney, announced today that Roger Emmit Baldridge, 54, of Ravenden pled guilty during the Lawrence County Circuit Court Jury Term to charges of Kidnapping and Possession of Firearms by Certain Persons.
