Today, Rauschenberg would have turned 100 (October 22, 1925 - May 12. 2008).

Rauchenberg was the first American to win the Grand Prize in painting at the Venice Biennale in 1964. He collaborated with artists such as Willem de Kooning, Jasper Johns, Cy Twombly, Susan Weil, Trisha Brown (and her eponymous Dance Company), Judson Church, Merce Cunningham, John Cage, and more.

Rauchenberg used found objects, painting, photography, printmaking, performance, sculpture, and various other mediums to blur the lines between everyday life, what could be considered art, and generate cross-cultural conversations.
