Confrontation || Tony & Jarvis
Everything had been perfect for like a day. He finally found Bruce and got him back in the lab, Pepper wasn't nagging, and Jarvis was making some serious headway in his program. Everything was good. Beside the gaping hole in his chest that was filled with metal and pushing bones and lungs in ways they were never designed to push. Besides that little hangup he was pretty happy.
Then Bruce turned Jolly Green on him, Jarvis went missing and Pepper slept with the fast talking asshole. The big guy needs some breath mints, and at least now Pepper wouldn't be sleeping with anyone else. But Jarvis wouldn't be so easy to fix if Loki was telling the truth. Which, really, that was kind of a long shot normally.
With the way his friend had been avoiding him, even going so far to stay with other people, Loki was probably not lying completely. This time. Enough was enough, and Tony found himself hacking the campus' security cameras one afternoon in an attempt to find him. There he was, making another damned smoothie.
The kitchen was just a hop skip and a jump from the lab, but Tony walked a bit faster than he actually needed to just to be sure he'd have Jarvis cornered. They needed to talk. He leaned against the doorframe and waited for him to turn around.
"Haven't seen you in the lab lately."
