What if he turned into a rat? Or a mouse?
Oof. Thats a rough one, as life as a tiny creature is much more dangerous that anything larger.
I'm gonna say rat, just because its gonna make something very funny further on.
SO Stan gets turned into a rat, small, very hated kind of pest. His life is a horror movie of avoiding getting poisoned, eaten, or killed by pest control. Through various running/hitchhiking he makes his way to Gravity Falls, or was already nearby when he got cursed. Finds Ford, is desperate for help, except he's also a rat! What if Ford tries to kill him?
Very tentatively makes his presence known, as he's too worried about Ford putting up rat traps or poison and killing him thinking he's a normal rat. So Ford wakes up one morning, goes to get breakfast, and finds a whole rat eating toast and chillin on his counter. freezes. The rat doesnt, it just gives him a glance and keeps chewing away. where did it come from? Why is it here? how did it get toast? It has to be an anomaly of some kind, so he very cautiously approaches and tries to talk to it.
It doesnt talk back, because its a rat. An overly friendly but also very mean rat that hates being picked up but will launch itself onto his shoulder and just. hang out. what? Every test proves its a normal rat, but he's seen it work the toaster, its hyper intelligent for no reason he can find, and now its living in his house. Should he be worried?
No, because this means something. He doesnt know what yet, but he'll figure it out.
Stan, meanwhile, is finally living the high life of not running for his life and getting free food. Ford's too interested in him to chase him out! All he has to do is figure out a way to communicate to him that he's Stan and he's back to being human!
Except Bill is also here, and can read rat minds. He knows this is Stan, why he's here, and is irked he can't control him, as his human brain is way stronger than a rats. He doesnt want the bros getting reunited, as then Ford has a person there to ruin the isolation Fords living in that makes him so easy to manipulate.
So now its a looney toons battle of Stan vs a second rat, who Bill is piloting after he couldn't convince Ford to get rid of Stan. Ford has no idea this second rat is Bill. Stan has no idea this second rat is controlled by a demon. All he knows is this second rat's a huge dick who keeps messing up his attempts at communicating and attacking him when Fords not around. Ford now has two rats that love(?) him but hate each other. More than once Ford has crept into a room to watch the rats duke it out in some tom and jerry but rat shenanigans where they have weapons or makeshift bows and arrows, neither noticing the giant human man writing about wtf is going on with his pet(?) rats that immediately pretend to be normal animals when they see him, like they werent in some kind of sword battle a second ago.
