It’s not all shitshine and painbows my dear. Apathy is unbecoming in relationship building just ask all of my....2 "best” friends and then the throngs of “friends” I keep at arm’s length.Instead of yearning for apathy, get a control on your empathy and sympathy. Don’t quash them entirely but if you are feeling strongly, write out what you feel and read over it a few times and see what sounds most rational. Identify people who are just taking up your time and energy and trim them from your life if you don’t want to cut them completely. 

Look for reciprocation. Does this person only come over if you’re paying? Do they only vent and then don’t want to listen to you? If you say no to them, the worst that can happen is you don’t lose your time/energy/money in this situation. Keeping your empathy for friends who are beneficial to you is valuable and genuine and worth the energy.

Well I don’t watch MLP so I guess anything lol 

K for one it’s super cute, Donut tries his best to treat Lopez as part of the team and not some faulty robot (even if he does mistranslate him a lot, he’s getting better he promises)  Lopez also isn’t half as mean to Donut as the others are, and is mostly just done with everyone’s shit anyways.

But also take in consideration they’ve spent a shit ton of time together too, like they usually get paired up, and Lopez was with Donut and Doc in Valhalla all that time as well. Lopez was with Donut while he was dying after Wash shot him. And during Chorus it seems like they’ve always had each other’s backs.
