Two years ago today
Two years ago today was one of the darkest days of my life. One of the very first moments I got consumed with the darkness in my head. The first time I ever lost control of my actions. One too many. I wore long sleeves when it was 90 degrees outside.
From two years ago on I haven’t been quite the same. There’s always a thought of making the wrong decisions. At any given moment. And I have. Unfortunately (and in regret) often.
One does not simply just “get better.” These thoughts are always there. In the back your mind. And you have good and bad days. On the good it’s really good. And on the bad it’s terrifying. Wondering maybe this is it. Today’s the day. And something random in life tends to stop you.
I live that life. And it all began two years ago today.
