Ken Block představuje svoji zimní hračku F-150 RaptorTRAX
Na světě je sice už nový Ford F-150 Raptor s biturbo motorem EcoBoost V6, ale osmiválec je osmiválec. Zvlášť když má místo kol pásy. Speciál, který si nechal Ken Block postavit na zimní blbnutí, není úplná novinka, ale teprve teď ho známý showman, podnikatel a závodník ukazuje podrobněji.
Základem je samozřejmě odcházející Ford F-150 Raptor. Na jeho osmiválec o objemu 6,2 l nechal Block namontovat kompresor Whipple, což zvýšilo výkon na 650 koní. Speciální konstrukce, která sahá přes korbu až na kabinu, slouží ke zpevnění celého stroje a k instalaci nejrůznější zimní výbavy.
Pak jsou tu detaily jako sedadla Recaro se čtyřbodovými pásy, světla Rigid Industries a samozřejmě pásy Mattrack. Kvůli nim muselo být upraveno i odpružení, protože každý pás váží asi 160 kg.

The truck is a Ford F-150 Raptor, donated by Ford complete with a roll cage. From there, Block’s car preparation team have transformed it into a high-powered, powder-surfing equivalent of a beach buggy.
