Clinton Bopp and Raphael Grisha traveled from opposite ends of the globe to collaborate on this 2015 Gabba Gallery Alley Project off of Beverly in Los Angeles. Grischa was born in 1986 in St. Gallen and grew up in Rehetobel, Switzerland and for more than a decade he has been producing artwork around the world. Clinton Bopp came to Los Angeles in 1998 after growing up in New Zealand and says—reflecting that dramatic transition—his work comfortably reflects the energy of both the urban and nature, and is inspired by the people and culture surrounding him at the time. Gabba Gallery’s Alley Project began in 2014 when gallery owner Jason Ostro decided to take direct action to make a difference in his neighborhood.
