It’s pretty close between Nora and Rafe, I think it runs in the family, but both express their drama in different ways. Nora is very loud and explosive when she’s upset, which is often. Because of the neglect and abuse she suffered in her early years she has a lot of emotions and next to no coping methods and will often resort to tantrums when overwhelmed with a situation. In her friendships and romantic relations separation anxiety can feed a very jealous, clingy and controlling side of her and she can be really toxic because of it. She’s afraid to fully love and trust anyone and that leads to lashing out. Rafe also has separation anxiety and insecurities about his relationships. Despite thinking he doesn’t want commitment in his love life he falls in love fast and when he does its head over heels. He has more control over himself since working with a therapist and starting to get sober, but he still feels those emotions and can lash out in pretty hurtful ways when he loses control. He also tends to play the victim when called out on this behavior and will sulk and cry and act pretty manipulative to get out of trouble. This is another behavior that he’s been made aware of and is working to be more responsible about, and it does tie back to past trauma and having a “fawn” fear response.
