raph is pretty reckless so he gets scraped up a bunch O_O so he usually has some bandaging (from Don) of some sort on (the orange fabric thingy on his arm covers a big scar of his I might have a side story w this or just elaborate in a future post). Splinter used to bring back any sort of clothing heād find when heād search the surface for them to play ādress upā when they were kids, which is where he got the belt from!! he thought the spikes were really rad and had Donnie tweak it so it could hold his sai (his arm is kind of blocking them here tho). Itās not anywhere in the story but Casey gives him the bracelet some point early on cuz it matches his belt lol and raph very much likes spikes as I said he thinks theyāre cool as hell
His teeth are super sharp and he was a biter as a kid so it HURT!!!! when he bit the others T_T ā¦ heās almost always scowling and usually has his arms folded or something cuz he thinks it makes him look tougher ;-;

I put together these (admittedly messy) character things for the TMNTU (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Unravel) main characters!! I have some doodles of the designs for other characters (Splinter, Shredder, Karai, Baxter, Irma, etc.) that Iāll post in the future, too!! Iām not the best at character design but I did want to have some visual for them ^_^

itās unclear tbh but in the casey and leo doodle, case is taking apart an Oreo to eat the filling
The one with the balaclava is actually one of the very first leos I ever drew lol I think even before I finished his original design. I was workshopping ideas for ādisguisesā and thatās what I put together for him at the time

i started to draw him laying on his back and then thought about his shell so I just stuffed several pillows and a neck pillow underneath so heās supported. Donāt think about it too hard heās a talking turtle
in a family full of yappers who suck ass at listening / donāt care enough to listen, heād be the one they all infodump on. Heād be thrilled when they meet April and for once someone listens to HIM. I think once they got closer sheād open up more and more and theyād equally talk eachothers ears off cuz theyāre the only ones to listen to eachother
oh and the first sunrise one is just a redraw of the turtle tot one i did but theyāre older obvs :3
I had a lot of ideas but these are the ones that ended up making itā¦. Most were sunrise anyways so I can just do them on mikeys dumpā¦

I didnāt really plan to post this but itās all I really have rn so uhhh. Kind of ironic given the circumstances LOL. tmntu eating habits vvv
Leo has a bad habit of feeling as if he has to āearnā meals, which can sometimes lead to him skipping meals even if heās hungry for the sole reason of not feeling as if he earned / deserved it. Heās relatively good at cooking, probably the best of the four, and made a lot of / most of their meals growing up, though he did just have to work with whatever they had.
Raph has a big appetite but heās a picky eater with extremely sensitive taste, and doesnāt like anything that tastes too strong and is particular about textures. He especially hates Mikeyās cooking because the boy always āoverseasonsā due to his own lack of taste. He doesnāt know how to cook.
Donnie eats the least out of the four of them because he considers food āa waste of timeā. His taste is practically nonexistent now and he doesnāt get much enjoyment out of any food, and since he lacks taste and smell he mostly just judges off texture alone. He lacks energy and is the least physically resistant of the four because of his diet. He doesnāt cook.
Mikeyās eating is pretty normal, he snacks throughout the day and usually has 2-3 meals. He has weak tastebuds so he really likes things with strong tastes. His favorite is anything sugary or spicy. He loves to cook but his food is often too strong for others, especially Raph. The one thing he does struggle with is staying properly hydrated, and Leo is often getting onto him about drinking enough water.
April has a relatively normal diet, too, the only thing being that sheās a vegetarian, so obviously no meat. She really likes sour candy and anything with peanut butter. She is a HORRIBLE cook, though, and sheās not allowed in the kitchen after the several incidents she caused trying to make food. Casey always gets scared anytime she gets near the kitchen.
Casey is more of a snacker than a full meal eater. Heās malnourished when Raph first meets him but he gains some weight and muscle as the story progresses. He mostly eats junk and doesnāt exactly have the healthiest diet. He knows how to cook some basic stuff.

(I LOVE ALL YOU CHARACTER SO MUCH AHSDJSFGH everyone you design and talk about just has so much whimsy (I think that's the right word) they're all just oozing with care and joy and love them all so so so so so much, I love the way you write and design characters they're all so so so perfect and wonderful and amazing <3)

š¢ - Are your turtles different species?
NO theyāre all just generic turtles, unlike all of the other chars I didnāt design the boys with specific species in mind, just based them off previous incarnations T_T Although with side characters I have tried to think of species (like with Venus I designed her with Diamondback terrapins in mind! :3)
š¦¹ - Who is the main villain?
The main villain in the first few parts is technically Shredder!! Heās the one now controlling the mutant experiments, has connections with the Purple Dragons, and he has his eye on Master Splinter. Shredder was not aware the boys or Splinter were alive, and only takes over the experiments after discovering what became of them. His hatred is mostly directed towards Splinter, though heās not fond of Baxter, either, despite working with him. Hhh I think I should leave it there :3
š - What is the lair like?
Ah I really wanted to actually draw the boysā rooms and stuff but I suck at scenes LOL ā¦ so take these very rough sketches of their rooms I scratched together
OK sorry theyāre a bit of a mess my hand is still killing me but most of the stuff in the lair is sort of old or thrashed because it was stuff either Splinter found on the side of the road, in the garbage, or something Donnie put together out of what Splinter found lol ,, excuse my handwriting but basically Raph has always had his own room, which is kind of messy, he has a bean bag, his charmander plush, a few comics, his gameboy (technically was supposed to be for all of them but he did NOT share), a rug, and his bed is almost always messy. He doesnāt like cleaning. Donnie has his own room now but he used to share with Mikey. This is explained in the story but basically Leo gave up his room for Donnie so that the two wouldnāt keep fighting. Donnieās room is the only one with a door because he personally made and installed it. He has a desk and a little lamp he uses to make all of his stuff, and his bed is usually neat solely cuz he doesnāt often use it. He also has first aid stuff and hoards several parts that he may or may not need. His bookshelves are almost crammed full and he also has a little cd player Splinter retrieved!! Very sparse and random selection of cds though. OK!! Finally we have Leo and Mikeyās room. Leo hadnāt changed the room at all when he moved in with Mikey, leaving anything Donnie left alone, and just using the storage spaces for any of his stuff. His bed is usually neat and he makes a point to keep his side tidy. Mikey has lots of plushies and his bed is usually messed up, especially his blankets since he kicks them off. TwT ā¦ He also has a small chest at the foot of his bed where all of his art stuff is and a stack of coloring and notebooks heās filled. They have a big rug and a small blue lamp, and the mirror was Donnieās. OKAY IVE SAID SO MUCH ABOUT THEIR ROOMS!!!! The dojo, washroom, etc is all described pretty early in the story I think?? So Iāll stop here T_T sorry I ramble
YES!! I posted her recently !! :3 I donāt have her human design yet T_T but like I said there sheās connected to Karai. I will say that her mutation had much different circumstances than all of the others O_O ā¦ and sheās not an immediate ally to the boys
š - Are there other turtles in your au?
Other than the main 4, thereās currently Venus, Slash, and two more I havenāt posted yet cuz spoilers. None of them are, likeā¦ siblings to the turtles or anything, and thereās no āsecret fifth turtleā, but there are other turtles! :3
š - Is there a Usagi in your au?
Currently not! :( I have considered adding him though lol but heād probably come much later in the story, like sometime after the first two parts. Right now I only have clear plans for the first two parts (foggier on the second) and the very beginning of the third.
š«µ - Who do you project onto the most?
DEFINITELY a mix of Mikey, Leo, and April ,,, Iām especially putting Leo through it to feel better about my own problems haha
š - Who likes pineapple on pizza?
Def Leo or Mikey. Mikey would like the strong acidic taste of pineapple and Leo would probably like the way the tomato and pizza tastes together :3 though heād probably be more reluctant to try it than Mikey would. Meanwhile Raph and Casey would HATE pineapple on pizza, esp with Casey specifically hating pineapple hehe
š§¶ - Does Raph knit?
No but I can see him learning to sew from Leo or April so he can make some cool stuff :3 heād probably learn after he accidentally tore his plush and wanted to fix it, though heād probably poke himself with the needle a bunch, heās not very good at being careful
š¤ Does your Donnie have a robot child?
I plan to have him make one at some point! Itāll probably start as a small, nonverbal little creature for simple tasks that he slowly adds more and more to and eventually realizes heās grown attached to it hehe ā¦ which is rare for him. He really likes to make cool things and especially loves convenience so it feels inevitable for him to create something to do things for him, even if itās just to bring him stuff from the kitchen or turn off the lights
š - Does/Did Splinter have a significant other?
Yes! Sheās not alive anymore O_O ā¦ but he did have a wife prior to being mutated but none of the turtles remember her and he doesnāt like to talk about her so they basically know absolutely nothing about her. Now, he doesnāt really have anyone but the boys. I think heād be too traumatized from how it went with her to ever think to start a relationship like that again.
FINALLY THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION!!!!!! Would they think youāre cool?
Mikey is a definite YES!!! Heād think youāre so cool and want to draw with you for sure hehe I feel like he could get along with just about anyone, you two would def be friends
Leo would probably be anxious at first to meet you but I think you two could be very good friends too :3 heās generally just very anxious but I think youād remind him of April which would ease his nerves ,, ALTHOUGH heās very protective of his brothers so if you did something to hurt one of them (I doubt you would) heād be quick to lose trust
Raph would be a bit of a tougher nut to crack but youāre really nice so heād probably grow onto you quick if you just praised him enough lol just donāt hurt his brothers or friends and you could totally be buddies
ok this is where it gets hard to say but I donāt think Donnie would like you much at first T_T he has major trust issues, especially towards people who are very nice (heck, he takes FOREVER to grow onto April and Casey), and heās the one with the most apprehension towards humans, so heās probably gonna be much harder to be friends withā¦. :(
April and Casey would definitely love you though!!! Youād probably match Aprilās energy and sheās just generally always looking to make l friends hehe and as long as you donāt come off as āthreateningā to Casey heād probably be quick to latch onto you, too!! So overall theyād probably all love you except maybe Donnie, whoās definitely harder to befriendā¦ BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE!!!
