13 reasons why spoiler alert Ppl crying about 13 reasons why rape scene that it was too much and shouldve been cut like why? Cause it made you uncomfortable? Cause it was traumatizing? Good. Hell I can relate very little to the characters and I was still traumatized. I read about the writers saying they did research and found that sexual assault cases like this are a fucking reality in america. Bad shit like this happens and when we get exposed to the graphics of it it makes us question our own behaviour and attitude which cannot be bad in ANY way. If you've ever experienced sexual assault whether it be in a bullying situation or not i can totally understand if you hated this scene or couldnt/ wouldnt watch it, everyone else should ask themselves do I want this cut cause its making me uncomfortable or do i want this cut cause i refuse to acknowledge the suffering of some individuals and i dont want to feel any of the collective responsibility we have towards them in our own actions and words
