Claudia’s incredibly complicated rp with her parents is sooo misunderstood by some of you, her saying Lestat was her favorite doesn’t mean she didn’t want to kill him nor that she didn’t hate him, her saying that she hated Louis was to hurt the shit out of him bc SHE’S DEAD, she’s a tortured spirit who cannot find her lover. She still did hold them as parents and loved/cared for them when she was alive, and she still did hate them fully as well. There is sooo many layers and things you cannot put into words but some of u just want “black or white” things “yes or no” answers that’s not how it works especially for tvl/itwtv. ANOTHER THING: yes this is Lestat’s POV as last season it was Louis, ofc the narration will be different, ofc OFC I URGE U to read the first page of the vampire lestat RIGHT NOW. This might be an adaptation but the key points of the character are the same. And yes everything is and will be about Lestat, go and watch an Anne Rice interview and find out for yourself.
