“Why would I want to run away, child?” He said with a condescending smile of his perfect white teeth. One of the features he actually envied about his brother. With a little luck, Cairo wouldn’t have those for long. “I haven’t broken any law, and I’m far older than you are. Do you really think you can hurt me?” He said matter-of-factly, trying his best to impersonate Cairo’s personal brand of cold detachment. He was really curious to assess one of Raphael’s favorite playthings, one that needed to be manufactured to satisfy his requirements. Gabriel thought he looked pretty unremarkable, but he would see how that would play out. “You’re more than welcome to try, sheriff. I’m sure Raphael would be really impressed if you actually managed to lay a scratch on me.” Just for good measure, Gabriel snapped Cairo’s long, pale fingers and summoned four illusory copies of his brother in Ransom's office. With a quick silent spell, he discreetly teleported to the spot occupied by the Cairo leaning against the wall, instantaneously projecting another illusion in the spot he occupied before, sitting in front of Ransom’s desk. A little kid’s trick, really, but practically impossible to spot if you didn’t know how to see through glamours.
