Everything you do with Ace is amazing. The development you’ve put into the kingdom is awe-inspiring, and I’ve loved watching it, since lurking back on Ekko to now, seeing it change, seeing your art improve, all of it – It’s been an absolute treat.

Your art! I love the way you use colour, seriously. Bright blue guts. Mmmmmmmm. It gets better with every piece, too. You’ve improved to an almost incomprehensible degree since I first saw one of your art pieces, really. It’s fantastic.

You also gave me some help / support re school when I desperately needed it last year and I still think about it a lot so thank you for that

The reason I started to do positivity again today was because I was going through this folder I have of nice things that people have said to me, right? And one of those was from you and so was another and another and just.

Dang.

You’re fantastic. You really, really, really are. A lot of times that I’ve been down, you’ve said the most brilliant things to me. All of the positivity you were throwing at people with the last meme. You always word things in the most brilliant, perfect way, something that’s suited to the situation, so, so specific to the person you’re throwing the nice words at. You’re immensely intelligent, and I really appreciate all the advice you’ve ever given me.

I hope things are going well for you. I know life can be difficult, computers frustrating, money-- Well, money rules the world, so I don’t think a single word would properly sum up how money is, but--

Dunno. Aside from everything, I guess, I hope you, yourself, are dealing well. The community appreciates you, y’know. All of the world building you’ve done for Zaun, the kindness that you’ve offered others, the friendliness, the development, the fantastic writing, the amazingly thought out headcanons, the advice, the effort -- 

It’s no small amount of work, but it means a lot. I mean, I guess I’m speaking for more than myself here, really, but please know that you’re wonderful. The effort you put into everything shows, and it does make this place better. 

Just-- Know you have my support. You’ve helped me a lot when I’ve needed it, and it means the world. You have my adoration, my respect, my care. You’re fantastic. 

Also, can’t write something like this without mentioning how great of an artist you are. God. So, so good. So inspiring.

Can I start with my usual adoration of your art? Because I love your art. Your choice of colour is genuinely sublime, and your compositions are stellar. You draw so consistently, and it’s amazing to see someone who I once thought was basically already a perfect artist somehow manage to get even better. I’m genuinely constantly inspired by all of the sketches and doodles and completed works you put on Tumblr, and feel privileged that I get to see it. Your lighting is so good, and oh man the expressions— Kled always looks so damn ferocious and it’s so fitting for his character and it’s fuckin’ excellent.

Then— your writing!!

And your development.

I love everything you do for your muses. I don’t know how you do it, but every time you pick someone new up, it feels like you’ve already been writing them for legit years. You always put your own spin on a character, and they feel so well-developed, with so much detail to their story. There’s always something new to learn, and you manage to craft these amazing overarching narratives that include so many little details and just — really take on a world of their own.

Aaaaaand you.

You’re cool. I hope you know that. You’re really fun to talk to, even if we rarely do past little reply chains. I love seeing your brilliant responses to dumbass anons, I love seeing how resilient you are, I love seeing the back and forths you have on random blogs, so on and so fort. You make the dash so lively (and thank god, because you’re often around at a time when it’s otherwise dead), and just—

No, but, like, really, though.

Lemme start by talking about Anilith.

I love her.

She’s really fuckin’ cool.

She’s so fun to interact with. She’s so genuine, so… Flexible? I’m not sure if that’s the word I’m looking for necessarily, but she fits into a lot of situations, which is nice for RP. She also just feels… Real, I guess. She’s whimsical in the way that a lot of League of Legends characters are, but never loses her humanity for it, either. Interacting with her feels natural, feels right.

Also I love love love love love love love your doodles of her. It’s really fun watching your art evolve with each one, and the way you draw her expressions is just brilliant. She’s so expressive, and so is your art and they work together so well and it’s just awesome.

And, I mean, I can’t talk about her this much without mentioning the ship, right? I really am sorry for just up and disappearing with it, but — I enjoyed what we did so much while it was around. It was fun, it really, really was. They’re both such— kind spirits, and really worked well together. I’m not much of a shipper, but that’s definitely one of my favourites :)

Then— You!!

You’re awesome. I love seeing your snapchat story. The food makes me envious. You’re really fun to talk to, even if we don’t talk that much anymore and I’m kinda terrible at messaging people. You’re creative, and we’ve shared a lot of similar thoughts on certain topics, which is always nice. I love love love reading your writing, and your art is seriously impressive. I’m legit envious of your linework. I mean your pencil drawings specifically, I suppose, because those are the ones that come to mind first, but they’re always so… Fluid? They feel lively and alive and just

The point is that you, my friend, are really, really darn cool.

You yourself are a hilarious person. That video. Holy shit that video. I couldn’t stop laughing, I really couldn’t. The shitposts I occasionally see are great, too. Please never stop. Please. Your humour makes my life infinitely better.

Then there’s your dedication! Like — Your writing has improved a lot. You’re constantly pumping out drabbles, and it shows, dude. Not that you were a bad writer before, good god not by any means, but your words hit more, your drabbles flow better—

You’re getting really damn good, basically. I love reading your stuff. The modern Pantheon stuff recently has genuinely had me on the edge of my seat, and I’m so happy we got to have that fight thread. It was so, so intense, and let me do some stuff I’ve been itching to do.

Also, I love everything you’ve done with Lee. Your development for him is consistent, your characterisation brilliant. I’ve reread your about page, like, five times, honestly. Everything you do with Shojin, with his fighting, with his background, with where he’s going — It all fits, gives Ionia this extra level of depth.

I feel like I’m not wording this properly but basically dude your Lee is fucking brilliant and I absolutely loved our thread and would love to do a follow up one ( :EYES: ) and love lurking on your threads and reading everything you throw onto the dash okay? okay.

— No, but, like, seriously. Almost every day, or at least weekly, you put out some new thought on Ionia, develop something more, add onto a previous headcanon of yours. I can’t say I always agree with it, but I do… Appreciate it?

Visibly, on Tumblr, I don’t think anyone else puts in as much work as you do for Ionia specifically, at least not right now. And it’s all so cohesive, so well thought out, so structured. It gives a richness to Ionia that Riot’s lore is lacking right now, at least publicly. It works, it allows all of these different strands they’ve given us to come together and make a functioning society.

It’s cool. I really enjoy reading those posts. Whether it’s comments on language, on the government, or something else, it’s always something that just works. So— Thank you for writing those, thank you for building as much as you do.

Then there’s your writing. Good god, I love your writing. I think I’ve mentioned it before, but you manage to balance description and dialogue and action and narration and everything together very, very well. Reading any of your work, whether a drabble, a piece of fanfiction, or a thread is always a delight. You’re very skilled at nailing the essence of any character you choose to write, and it is a delight to have you on the dash.

I dunno. The community has shrunk a lot recently, which is sad, but— You make up for a lot of that with the way that you’re constantly churning out worldbuilding, adding so much to Ionia, whether it is a headcanon or a thread. You make the world feel alive, developed, and your writing truly is fantastic. It’s so, so nice to read.

I’ll get around to our thread soon enough, I swear.

You also seem really consistent. Like — I swear I remember your name from before I left the community for however many months during the summer, which means you’ve been around a while. If I’m wrong, whoops, but, like, given how quickly people tend to leave, props, dude. Props. Takes dedication. You’ve shown that.

Also, honestly, I’ve just never seen anything but nice things for you on the dash. A lot of the people I interact with absolutely hold you in really, really high regard, so — Know that. There’s a lot of people in this community who adore you. I promise.

Like a lot a lot. People care for you. Remember that always.
