Coming back to this fantasy AU that got to be doodled a couple of times. And! I finally got to draw Sendak in it! Fairly human looking, but he’s still sporting the purple hair/fur and giant cat ears. And a fluffy tail seen behind the table. 

There’s a bit of an idea here.  Pidge has been living in a modern world without magic, brought there by her grandmother, Ryner. Sendak was the one who escorted Ryner to safety, defending her and the twins (Pidge and Chip) so they could escape. Ryner always told the twins stories of Sendak, the skill knight who would defend others in need (without outright saying he protected her, but Pidge connects the dots).  After helping Ryner escape, Sendak is badly injured and loses his arm and eye. He eventually finds himself at home in a tavern, becoming a bit of a drunk until a certain magical spitfire finds him.  Really, I hope to one day figure things out more. This would make a fun story.
