Soon enough, after the kill was secured, the Beggar came padding in, bare feet audible on the tile floor. "Nice one, chum!" he cheerily complimented, knowing he would get no appreciation. The man dropped to his knees, running his hands over the fresh corpse, feeling where they were wounded, then wrapping his hands around different parts of the body. He grinned, yellowed teeth on display, as he heartily slapped the thigh of the victim. "Meaty too, ohhoho~" he spoke aloud. "Are... are ya gonna eat this?"
Blood runs beneath the sleeves of his jumpsuit, the thick crimson coating the underside of his arm as he twists his knife deeper. It's as if the figure is searching for something within the survivor's body. The Shape feels the knife as it bends, tearing and cutting, bending with it. The body is lifeless now, hands that gripped his collar lax and retreating to their host where they belong. This one had tried to claw, nails scraping at the rubber of the mask.
Michael tosses the body away and to the floor.
As soon as the sound of the body colliding with the tile stills, a scuttling begins. There is a creature following him. The Shape has been aware of this. It waits to sink it's teeth into flesh. Curious thing.
One step back and away. It's nearly respectful. The body is of no use to him. The voice of the creature is thin and it cuts through his mask with ease. It is irritating.
The figure's head tilts, a slow movement of interest as the thing places hands on the body. It is food for this creature. He finds pleasure in it? He does not know. It does not matter.
The question is left hanging in the air. It does not merit a response. The Shape is still, breath steady.
