My heart broke a little this morning when I discovered my favorite, fluffy black cat, pretty much my favorite cat of all time, deceased. Roanie was an excellent mouser and a cool companion. I could always count on her to greet me when I’d arrive home from a barrel race or a trip. She alarmist always followed me to do chores and you couldn’t count on her to enjoy an afternoon nap with you on the couch. There are some big shoes to fill with her gone. You were the best girl, Roanie.
