My brainworms have latched on and they won't let me rest. Here are some headcanons they've given me. It's mostly Gale hcs, but I have some of Haig, Molly and Cook too.

Gale
Gale's and Molly's fingertips are calloused from pressing on their instrument's strings.
He loves honey, but only as a part of a drink or as hard candy. He doesn't like how it coats the back of his throat when it's in liquid form. Too cloying.
He's acrobatic and agile, but his decision making and estimation aren't exactly the best. So sometimes he flubs a move that he totally could have pulled off, solely because he got a flash of inspiration as he's executing it and pivoted to try out the new thing instead. It's 50-50 work-fail rate.
He wanted to try wearing a corset, but when he found out how much it restricted his breathing when he sang, he ripped it off mid-show. (Molly saw this coming so she made the corset in a way that will tear along a pre-determined line and won't damage the material too much)
He has shaky hands. He has to clench and hold onto something tightly if he wants them to still.
A cat has fallen asleep in his hair once.
He has quite a high pain tolerance. He got his chest tattoo done in one day.
He has to be forced by Haig to brush his teeth, headlock style like a dog. He now brushes at least once a day with one other crew member watching him to make sure he does it properly.
He absolutely refuses to take medicine unless he feels like he's going to die, so Haig has to coordinate with Cook to put the pills in his food.
Haig
Everyone has tried to play his hurdygurdy to varying success. Molly and Gale teamed up. One person cranks it, the other presses the keys.
He has terribly tense and sore shoulders and back. Only Cook has heavy enough hands to work out the knots.
He often complains of overheating from having such long hair, but he always come up with even more complaints when someone ties his hair up, I.E., it's giving me a headache, the hairtie's tail (rope/ribbon/etc.) is annoying, etc.
Molly
She has multiple pillows and pillow cases which she tests out fabrics and do embroidery on as something to occupy her hands when she's in a designing slump. Once her bed/hammock is full, the pillows start appearing in other places on the ship.
She has mannequins on the ship. She moves them around and the boys get jumpscared by them sometimes.
She gets annoyed when the crew gets hurt. Not only because they got hurt, but because their clothes get damaged too. Gale regularly gets seen to by her and Haig. While Haig patches him up, she fixes the tears in their singer's clothes.
Cook
He has a sweet tooth. He makes and stockpiles as much dried/candied fruits as he can whenever they dock. This has saved the crew from vitamin deficiency since they like to try and sneak some from his stash as dessert or snack during the day. After he cracked down on it, the crew just agree to everyone getting 1-2 pieces a day.
He taught Gale how to make honey candy, and when Gale caused trouble for the crew, he drags Gale to the kitchen and have him look after the pot as punishment. Gale doesn't complain because he knows he'll be the one getting all of the candy afterwards anyway.
He's a very neat eater. Having a mustache means being extra careful when he eats to keep it clean. A stache this sharp needs a lot of work!
He likes having an audience when he cooks, but HATES having someone else in the kitchen cooking alongside him.

My gut has been telling me something for awhile, and with the new clip of Vam/Gale, I'm now confident enough to share...
What if these two are twins?!
Wait! Hear me out!
As soon as I saw Agon, I was suspicious of his hair color, the similar facial structure, and the similar body type.
Nevermind that he's also a musician and his gossip page...
It specifies that he's a "Divine Son" born on the day of the Mad King's disappearance, and that he's supposed to have the power of prophecy but people are doubting him.
Then we got a new clip confirming "Pink Vam" is Vam and the other similarities kept stacking up.
There's even similar elements between Agon's outfit and Vam's rock outfit.
Such as the red, gold, and white color scheme and the feather like tassals on Agon's collar being similar to the ones on Vam's sleeves.
So my weird little theory is that this "Divine Son" was actually born with a twin and Vam was the disregarded younger sibling or even the victim of an attempted "Man in the Iron Mask" scenario.
Vam may have even lived wealthy for most of his life since his pink outfit is worse for wear, but looks like it was originally very fancy. He was probably mistreated judging by the scars on his face and neck.
But he escaped and ended up in Orbtopia, living it up as a popular performer.
Now the Dawnbreaker Navy and Agon are arriving in Orbtopia and they're either looking for him specifically, or they're in for a big surprise.
