I’m sure we’ll all look back on this fondly. Murray was on Splash Mountain floating through the lower ride and we passed the big drop above us. He looks up as people are going down screaming and says, “Oh there’s Splash Mountain! I don’t wanna go on that one!”
After the girls’ performance of The Greatest Show.
Some shots from December. Gosh, I love these humans!!
And another day at Arches. The kids got their junior ranger badges here too. We hiked to Landscape Arch, Window Arches, Double Arch, Delicate Arch, and a few others. Murray insisted we listen to “Obla-Di Obla-Da” probably 200 times on the drive. We went into the park at 10pm on night and looked at stars under Balanced Rock in the very dark landscape. The girls climbed all over the rocks (which the ranger said was fine) and learned so much about geology, being a good hiker and about the parks. We visited on a crowded weekend and lucked out. Except the restaurants in Moab and some of the roads were soooo crowded. I don’t think we’ll ever forget watching a man eat packets of straight jam with a spoon because his food took so long to come out. We also got dinosaur bones and trilobite fossils as souvenirs from the rock shop, visited a food truck roundup and did a hike to dino footprints. Magic. All around. The kids are becoming such great adventurers. Such a wonderful weekend.

We had a gorgeous vacation to Moab for the long weekend. On our first day, we hiked to Delicate Arch. 500 foot elevation gain on slick rock face for 3 miles the kids did great. Even running parts of the trail. Ha! Breathtaking views and times with my favorite people.
Some shots to represent the end of summer, exploring our new state. P.S. Ice cream is a real passion of Murray’s.
Easter shenanigans this year included the Easter Bunny hiding baskets for the kids, a small egg hunt in the backyard, dyeing eggs, and brunch at our house. It was very exciting and chocolate filled. Murray received a school bus and Peppa Pig in his basket. Anthea and Rosie got Shopkins Shoppies.
