For the character ask: Zelda!
WHICH ZELDA?? XDD Lol ahh I guess I'll share bits and piece of them all. XD favorite thing about them I think one of my favorite things about all the Zeldas is how there's a distinct difference in their personalities, but all of them still carry a strong sense of duty as well. (Except for Totk...) It's funny because on one hand I know there's some people who really like to lean into the differences between them, but I think a lot of people still overlook Zelda in general as just the "Damsel in Distress". Which is a real shame because there's so much more to her than that in every iteration. least favorite thing about them I've already talked with you specifically about this before but you know I'm not a fan of Botw/Totk in general. She still reads as just whiny a lot of the time, horribly reckless, and just the corporate-industry idea of "intelligent nerd" without actually *using her brain to think anything through.* I will never forgive her for the frog scene... favorite line
Time passes, people move… Like a river's flow, it never ends. A childish mind will turn to noble ambition. Young love will become deep affection. The clear water's surface reflects growth. Now listen to the Serenade of Water to reflect upon yourself.
I mean honestly almost anything said by Sheik, but I'll pick out this one. :3 Something that comes back to mind when I feel a little existential.. brOTP I'll be honest I never really thought much of a broship for Zelda?? But... Hmm.. I guess there's Tetra and her pirate crew. Or Twilight and Midna? Idk. XD;; OTP Ahhh Skyward Sword's Zelink will always be the sweetest couple in my mind. <3 I've also seen ideas for Hylia x Fierce Deity which I gotta admit.. would be pretty good. o3o nOTP *(Shrugs)* Not sure. I guess Sky!Zelda x Groose? XD;; I mean I guess I should say Zelda x Ganon but idk. I think there's something you could do there if you worked at it. random headcanon Hmmm.. Hard to say if I have any for Zelda specifically... I guess the best case one is that I've always felt like Hylia was meant to be the goddess of both Light and Time, though it's never explicitly stated. But because of that, that's why there are time stones in Landayru desert in Skyward Sword. Which trickles down into the idea that the Ocarina of Time itself was made of one of those stones, which is why it was passed down through the generations, much like Zelda's harp. Why Zelda, in the end of Oot, was able to use it to send Link back in time, and why Link can use it to call for help from the Goddess of Time, even in another world like Termina. unpopular opinion
Botw/Totk Zelda sucks. XD;; Just- I'm sorry. But to me she does. She's just "Lol quirky" and whines and then makes the dumbest decisions ever. Like, girl you're supposed to be associated with WISDOM. Not autism. Also, I'm sorry, but your goddess dress in Botw makes you look pregnant. Just- it does! I'm sorry! I can't unsee it! song i associate with them
I mean... *(Gestures to Zelda's Lullaby.)* ... *(Then shrugs to Sheik's Theme)* favorite picture of them Ahh I don't know if I have a favorite picture per se but I think my favorite design would have to go to Ocarina of Time, as cliche as that may be to say. It feels very respectful, very modest, and balances well between feeling both religious and regal. I think it's really good. nwn Another one I love is the Link to the Past official artwork. It's such a cute and much simpler concept but, it definitely carries that feeling of wild high fantasy adventure that I love so much in the series! <3 <3 <3
