করোনা ভাইরাস সংক্রমণের ভয়ে লকডাউন চলছে সারা দেশে। বাজারে অপ্রতুল প্রয়োজনীয় দ্রব্যসামগ্রী আর এই সময় নবরাত্রি পড়ায় অত্যন্ত কায়ক্লেশেই ভক্তপ্রাণ মানুষজন নবরাত্রির ব্রত উদযাপন করেছেন। অনেকে অতিকষ্টে পুজোর ঘট জোগাড় করলেও দেবী দুর্গার পায়ে দু’টি ফুল দিতে এক বাজার থেকে অন্য বাজার ঘুরে বেড়িয়েছেন কিন্তু সামান্য ফুল, বেলপাতাও জোগাড় করে উঠতে পারেননি। সবই ভগবতীর ইচ্ছা, মানুষ চাইলেও অনেক কিছু করে উঠতে পারেন না।

আজ বাসন্তী পূজার দশমী অর্থাৎ রাজা সুরথ তৎকালীন বাংলার স্বপুর বা আজকের বোলপুরে যে দুর্গাপূজার আয়োজন করেছিলেন আজ তার শেষ দিন। কিন্তু দেবী বিসর্জনের পূর্বে যে কাজটি অবশ্য করণীয় তা হল অপরাজিতা পূজা। অপরাজিতা দেবী দুর্গার একটি রূপ বা সংহারক মূর্তি বলা চলে। দেবী একটি সিংহাসনে আসীন যা ঘিরে নয়টি পাপড়ি আছে যেখানে অবস্থান করছেন ন’জন দেবতা। এই ন’টি পাপড়ি দেহের ন’টি দ্বার এবং সিংহাসনটি পৃথিবীর গর্ভস্বরূপ। ন’জন দেবতা অবিরত দেবীর স্তুতি করে চলেছেন আর দেবী বিনাশ করে চলেছেন অশুভশক্তির।

আশ্বিন মাসের শুক্লপক্ষের দশমী তিথিতেই দেবী অপরাজিতার কৃপাতেই রামচন্দ্র রাবণ বধ করেন। সেই কারণেই ওই দিনটি বিজয়া দশমী নামে খ্যাত। রামচন্দ্র অত্যন্ত নিষ্ঠার সঙ্গে দেবী অপরাজিতার পূজা করেন। তবে বলা হয়, রামচন্দ্রের অপরাজিতা পূজার অনেক আগে থেকেই অর্থাৎ চতুর্যগ আরম্ভের সময় থেকেই দেবতারা দেবী অপরাজিতার আরাধনা করে আসছেন। দশমী তিথিতে মধ্যাহ্নের পরে এবং সায়াহ্নের পূর্বে দেবী অপরাজিতার আরাধনা করা হয়। এরপরেই হয় দেবীর বিসর্জন। নিষ্ঠার সঙ্গে অপরাজিতা পূজা না করলে অসম্পূর্ণ থেকে যায় নবরাত্রির ব্রতও।

বাড়ির উত্তরপূর্ব দিকের বাগানে বা পূজার ঘরে বা শমী বৃক্ষের নীচে কোনও স্থান চন্দনচর্চিত করে দেবী অপরাজিতার, পূজার আয়োজন করা হয়। পূজার সময় অপরাজিতা স্তোত্র পাঠ করলে ভক্তের বিশেষ ফল লাভ হয়। দেবী ভক্তকে অপরাজেয় অর্থাৎ জয়লাভের বরদান দেন। নীল অপরাজিতা দিয়ে দেবীর আরাধনা করলে দেবী বিশেষ প্রসন্ন হন এবং পূজকের শত্রুনাশ হয়। দেবীর কৃপায় ভক্ত দীর্ঘায়ু এবং অপার সৌভাগ্য লাভ করেন।
