I've been enjoying Wasteland 2 lately despite the weird writing here and there, but there's one thing I really wish they had added to this game and that is the ability to actually talk to your followers. I mean, aside from the initial conversation, all you get from them is pretty much just "JOIN PARTY Y/N". And it bugs me so much! You're telling me that I can never ask Vulture's Cry to drop the act because I didn't meet some requirement to ask her within the first few minutes? I can't talk to Ralphy about his dad, whom we saved from a cult before immediately slaughtering said cult? I can't tell Lexcanium that "quadrupedal" isn't a synonym of "goat"? Tell Pistol Pete that he's a fucking idiot? Or push Takayuki full on into Dark Side murder mayhem if I feel like it? They really missed out on this, honestly.
