Chasm ”Every creator painfully experiences the chasm between his inner vision and its ultimate expression.” – Isaac Bashevis Singer

With each new painting there are layers of vision imagined. Sometimes it starts out as splash of paint on the canvas with hopes of a whimsical offering to the art gods. Some days the paint brush is on fire while the paint is the kindling, with strokes of liberty. Other days there’s hesitation and broken contours as nothing seems to make sense.

This painting is called Chasm as it reveals the depths of an unpredictable vision. The colors merge into each other with ease creating canyons of dreams and high hopes. These rippling arrangements are expressions of art in its finest form.
