Ā Ā Ā FOR THE PAST FEW DAYS SINCE THE EVENTS in the volcano, heād been with his uncle and ā¦ his uncleās students (who he did not have the greatest opinion on, honestly.) while he recovered from the sickness that befell him from breathing the volcanic fumes and the burns on his hands from where he was trapped.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Between the severe headache, the burns, and the coughing fits, heād been having horrible nightmares too. He would never admit to needing something to ease it, and heād rather suffer in sickness as well, but it was the memories that plagued him worse. He knew he would heal from the physical part but the mental hell that came with the events would take much longer.
Ā Ā Ā And that whole green ninja talk after he was saved by Kai ?? That really didnāt help him out. It only made him worry more because it seemed pretty intense for his future. Chosen one, fighting his own father ā¦ Hell, if anything, that just made him want to run away and find some cave to hide in instead of suffer this. All this crap heād gone through with the wrong alliesā
Ā Ā Ā His attention shifts from those lingering, troubling thoughts of what heād gone through recentlyā what he brought on himself but not thinking about what consequences his actions may bringā when he hears the door open up. He gathers enough energy to sit up a bit when the other comes near and hands him a hot drink.

Now that he wasnāt burying himself under the covers, the darkness under his red eyes were plenty visible. The nightmares had definitely been keeping him up at night, and when he did sleep, he woke up terrified, so it was a lose/lose for the young boy. ā What - uh , whyād you bring this though ?? Did I sleep through breakfast ?? ā he asks, taking another long sip of the drink he was brought. He canāt imagine someone (well, besides his uncle) getting concerned about his state so he immediately crossed that out of his mental list.Ā
