There was this writer from Asianfanfics who attempted to translate the story from Korean to English but sadly decided to discontinue the story even before it started and deleted it. There were some excerpts that the writer translated:

사실은 민석아. 네게 이야기하지는 못했지만, 이 전쟁이 끝나면 말이야. 너와 살고 싶었다. 너와 함께 한국으로 가서, 전쟁이고 싸움이고 민족이고 모두 다 잊어버리고 작은 집을 구하고 싶었다. 조그만 방에 너와 같이 누울 침대를 놓고, 너는 학교를 다니고 나는 작은 회사에 취직해서 돈을 벌고. 반복되는 일상이 지치고 지겨워질 때쯤엔 여행을 떠나고. 때로는 아주 멀리 가는 버스를 타고 맨 뒷좌석에 앉아 서로 기대어 한참이고 잠들고, 볕이 좋은 날 나무그늘에서 네가 좋아하는 한국 노래와 내가 좋아하는 오래된 중국 노래를 함께 듣기도 하고, 내가 보았던 새벽 바다를 같이 보러 가기도 하고. 나 때문에 힘들었던 너의 시간들을 보상하면서, 가끔은 그 수라도 같던 시절들을 추억처럼 떠올리면서, 평범하게 살고 싶었다.

English Translation:

Actually, I really wanted to live with you after this war,Minseok-ah. Though I didn’t have a chance to tell you. I wanted to go to Korea with you. I didn’t wanna care about anymore of those ridiculously long battles and fights. I wanted to forget everything about my race, ethic and nationality and I just wanted to have a small home with you. In a small room, we could put a bed where I could lie down with you. When you go to school, I could get a job in a small company to make ends meet. And when our everyday lives become boring, we could leave for a trip. Sometimes, we could get on an express bus and sit at the back corner and sleep on each other’s shoulder. When the night that stars are brightly shining comes, we could listen together to some Korean songs that you like and some old Chinese songs that I like under the tree. We could go and see together the sunset that you said you’ve seen once. I wanna give you back the times you suffered because of me and sometimes we could reminisce about those times as precious memories… Just like that…I just wanna live an ordinary life with you.

I really wish for us, International fans and shippers to have the privilege of reading this beautiful and legendary story that we have all been waiting for. Let’s hope and pray that someday we’d be able to read and know what the author wants to impart and express to us about the story; what the author wants us to feel and think about it; and most importantly how we fall in love with the story together with the main characters in it.

  Tak ada yang menyukai pantai saat hujan. Pasir yang basah akan lengket dan memberatkan langkah. Angin kencang yang tak terhalang akan membuat payung melayang. Tapi, saat itu, di bibir laut itu, seorang pria melangkah lambat. Dia terlihat begitu senang di bawah payung biru gelapnya, seperti merasakan ketenangan justru di antara rinai deras dan gemuruh ombak yang menyapa. Bibirnya melengkung ke atas, seakan kehangatan merasuki jiwa justru kala angin semakin menderu dan menguarkan aroma hujan dalam dingin.

  Langkah lambat itu terlihat berhenti di dekat sebuah perahu kayu kecil yang merapat ke dermaga.

  “Bagaimana kabarmu di sana?”

  Tak ada yang menjawab pertanyaan itu kecuali deburan ombak dan angin yang lewat.
