Happy Imbolc everyone and here's to a good Spring that comes early! I've made some springtime earrings today in honour of Saint Brigid. Salvaged assemblage art earrings that feature some vintage treasures - like these Sarah Coventry rainbow glass connectors from a broken bracelet and what I think are 1950's brass embossed buttons with wonderfully bold hand painted flowers. I've created a brass hoop with wire wrapping secured with silver solder to show case them. There's also a reclaimed brass stamping which I think may have been from a drawer which has a lovely salmon patina. At the top sit my own ceramic pottery beads with earth and ocean glazes.
