I was talking to my sister about the implications of Rage Mode Sora.
Basically: Heartless Sora never got his body back - he’s a heart (a heartless, really) given Light and Form by Kairi. His Nobody never correctly recompleted to make him, and Nobodies are the bodies of the person, right? Sora walks around long before the end of Days and the KH2 prologue. That’s why Xehanort using the X-blade is capable of tearing the light out of him and forcing Rage Modes appearance.
Went on this whole short inspiration go while listening to The Underworld from Epic and if you click the link you can see a little animatic version of this c: Vanilla is a fairy barbarian who was isekai'd into the DnD world and lost her mother in the process as Earth was destroyed, she's got some issues she's raging through against the remnants of it all-

With Eda’s owl beast rage-mode having 6 wings, I wonder if they designed her that way because there are angels called seraphim with 3 pairs of wings, which are one of, if not the highest ranks of angels (depending on the religion), so it’d be a great way of saying she’s trying to smite the evil that is Belos. ^_^<3
If it wasn’t for the fact that Belos is delusional/crazy, I’d really question how he could see himself as the hero when he’s doing all these horrible things AND looks like this. O_O
