im bored in class so wth sure here's a GIGANTIC list of total vibes i have bc i think about them all the timeeeeee. forget the timeline of the court this is just if they lived together i guess

dulcamara is canonically one inch taller... but her canon dislike for heels, combined with the fact that i have decided she is ridiculously flexible (nimble fighter) and so has terrible posture unless actively putting on a show (just makes sense) mean she often appears shorter. alls that to say, dulcamara rests her head on rafa's shoulder literally whenever they sit or stand near each other

dulcamara's nails are always long talons, but her usual poison feels impractical for hand holding. in my head rafa is left handed?? i don't know why i dont think thats canon? anyways. dulcamra's left hand now has shorter nails and she hold's rafa's right hand literally always so they have their dominant hands free even tho theyre holding hands so they can be wonderfully in love battle lesbian core

rafa loves to be given piggy backs. she always used to give Merritt them when they were little but she never got to be given them herself after their father died. Amara is FREAKISHLY strong and eventually trains obstacle courses with Rafa slung over her shoulder. she says its a good combat precaution. Rafa thinks thats a terrible excuse (why do you assume ILL be the one knocked out, Amara??) but they're both having far too much fun to care about logic here

Amara is always cold and Rafa is always emenating just a little bit of mending magic warmth. her sweaters don't, but Amara steals them for 'healing purposes' anyways. if Rafa complains, Amara simply slips inside Rafa's jumper. while Rafa is wearing it. its heat efficiency! thats all!

Rafa finds it hard to fall asleep, but once she's out, she's out. its something that always used to make her nervous (hence the insomnia) but she can't figure out a way to sleep lightly. Amara is the opposite and can and will nap literally anywhere. however, be wary of saying something secret in front of her: on several occasions, Amara has 'dreamt' something that happened around her while asleep. So Amara likes to sleep with her head on either Rafa's shoulder or her stomach (guard dog style). her weight helps Rafa feel safe enough to sleep, and also she literally can't be restless bc she WILL wake Amara if she moves the slightest fraction. at any interruption, Amara is up with knives out before she's even opened her eyes

Rafa is a very blunt person, but she's also very accustomed to biting her tongue in social contexts. Amara, however, has a terrible poker face despite her charm. so Rafa says terribly funny things in private, and then in front of people, will only need to quirk a brow the slightest amount before her gf is laughing hysterically. Amara insists this ability is very unfair, and Rafa is too fond of the slight rasp to Amara's laugh, the way her nose and brow crinkle as she tries not to snort with glee, to ever stop. needless to say everyone else finds them and their silent conversations of smirks and eyebrow waggling insufferable

Rafa nodded, trying desperately not to read into those words. She also tried not to read into the way Amara hesitated, but it was clear as day that she was lingering, her arm near Rafa’s elbow, her fingers half-extended, the breath before the reaching. In fact, it was apparently so obvious that Elro noticed. “You shouldn’t keep her waiting, Mars,” he said abruptly.  Rafa watched the way his eyes tracked Amara’s motions, watched his brow furrow in either anger or hurt. But it was soon quite hard to care about how the ice boy felt when Amara leant a little closer, and then, at Rafa’s immediate smile, pressed a kiss to Rafa’s cheek. Rafa suppressed her shiver, and her instinct to reel Amara back in for a kiss that was a little more thorough, and squeezed Amara’s hand only once before letting go. “I’ll see you later?” Amara asked, her cheeks stained with beautiful blush. Rafa nodded, sure her own cheeks were an embarrassing shade of pink.  “Catch you later Mars,” Elro added, a little too forcefully.
