Basically watching this last episode of season 2 has reinforced my opinion that season three really did not exist. 

Everyone deserves to have a Finn Nelson in their lives. ••• I’m a big fan of My Mad Fat Diary! Just finished the last episode and I can’t believe it’s truly over!

******************** They were sat it the pub, as usual, where chop was giving the gang details about a party that was happening on the weekend. “Right guys, there’s this party this Saturday night, got us all invited!” Chop said with a massive grin on his face. “Don’t tell no one though, it’s top secret! It’s be buddy’s party and he don’t wan’ no one goin’ that he hasn’t invited alright!” Chop said slightly more serious, he was always up for getting pissed. All of the gang were excited, they hadn’t been to a party in ages and were all looking fb forward to getting absolutely wankered.

The weekend had come and the girls were getting ready at izzy’s house. They were all sat discussing what to wear. “I got this dress the other day, it’s quite nice but I don’t know if I like it” Rae said sounding self conscious, she would never wear dresses because she thought she never looked good enough. Being with Finn the past few weeks has helped her love her self more. She tells herself that he shouldn’t be the main source of her happiness because it’s not good to be so dependant on somebody else. But she really likes him and he loves her to bits, he really has helped her love herself more. “Oh my god rae! Go try it I want to see!” Chloe said excitedly and Izzy nodded enthusiastically. “Alright alright!” Rae said as she made her way into the bath room to get changed. “Wow” izzy said, mouth hung open. “Jesus Rae! You look hot! You have to wear it, omg, imagine what Finn with think!” Chloe was happy for her best friend. She really hated the fact that she hated herself as much as she did. She really did look beautiful in that dress. “Hmm, yanno what I think I will” Rae said proudly as she turned to the full body mirror, smiling slightly at the navy blue dress which showed just enough cleavage and stopped at the knee. Izzy had gone for a little pink dress that went amazingly with her vibrant red hair. She kept her hair down with tight curls and pinned the sides up like she usually does. Chloe went for a tight black dress and her hair up in an elegant ballerina bun. Rae curled the ends of her hair slightly and let Chloe put some makeup on her.

The boys had arranged to pick the girls up at Chloe’s at 8pm. Finn, chop and Archie got into Finns dads car and drove to izzy’s house. Chop knocked on the door to be presented with his gorgeous girlfriend. He looked at her the way every girl wanted to be looked at. He admired her completely. “Iz, you look gorgeous” chop said, completely smitten with the girl standing in front of him. Izzy giggled and moved to the side to greet the other boys and let them inside. “Chlo and Rae will be down in a bit, she’s just doing Rae’s make up” izzy giggled. Finn was getting impatient, they had been at izzy’s for about 10 minuets and he really wanted to get going (he just wanted to see Rae). Chloe came down the stair first with Rae trailing behind. Archie made a wolf whistle at the pair as they came down to greet them. Finn was gobsmacked. He thought Rae was beautiful before, but now he didn’t have words for how he was feeling. Rae approach her boyfriend and Finn swallowed the lump in his throat that had formed. She looked him up and down and smiled cheekily “not too shabby Finnely!” “Rae… Rae you look- you look amazing” Finn was finding it hard to find the words that would do Rae justice, he had always been shit with words. She smiled, blushing slightly “thank you” “Right shall we get going then?!” Archie yelled, he really wanted to get drunk. The gang left izzy’s to go to the party and it was in full swing. The music was blaring, people were dancing and everybody was either high or drunk! Chop let out and excited holler as he entered the doors of the house and quickly shuffled into the kitchen to get himself a drink with Izzy. Archie slung his arm over Chloe, they had agreed to be each others wing man. (Or wing woman in Chloe’s case) A number of boys glanced over at Chloe and stole a look - they were interested. But Chloe know she had to be careful. No more people like Ian. Rae and Finn walked in holding hands. A few boys at the party looked over at Rae hungrily. Finn noticed and put a protective arm around her waist. His dragged his eyes over to the boys who were looking at Rae and gave them a stern look. “D’ya wanna drink girl?” Finn smiled, arm still clinging to her waist. Rae nodded enthusiastically and they made their way over to the kitchen. They had been at the part for about 2 hours and were having an amazing time. They were dancing and drinking but only slightly tipsy. Finn went to get another drink and left Rae dancing by her self. When he got back he saw a boy, about 19, making his way over to Rae with hungry eyes, his jaw clenched. “Hey!” Said the boy “I’m Charlie, what’s your name?” He said raising his eyebrows at her. She looked at him confused “Rae” “As I’m Rachel?” “Yeah” she was being blunt with him, she really didn’t like how full on he was being - she had a boyfriend. “You look really beautiful Rae” Charlie said with a glint of lust in his eyes, glancing down at Rae’s cleavage. This boy made Rae feel uncomfortable and self obvious. “Thanks. That’s kind of you” “Ey, no problem!” He went to grab Rae’s Arm to pull her closer, he took a firm grip. “Dance with me Rae” he slurred. He was clearly drunk, but that is no excuse. “No, let go of my arm” Rae struggled to get out of his grasp but he was too strong “I just want to dance with you. C’mon, it’s just a dance” he said taking her other arm aswell, gripping it tightly, “I said no! Let go of me” Rae yelled but it was not heard over the loud music. He went into kiss her when Finn’s fist collided with his jaw. “When a girl says no, she means no you fucking prick!” He landed on the floor with a thud, scrambling to get to his feet again. “What the fuck man?!” Charlie said holding his jaw, blood spewing out of his nose. “This is me girlfriend! You don’t touch er alright!” Finn was angry, he put his hand on the small of her back to reassure her that he was going to sort this. “Jesus, that’s you’re girlfriend? Unlucky lad, she’s massive, why would y-” he couldn’t finish what he was going to say when another punch collided his face. This one wasn’t as strong as the first, and Charlie threw a punch at Finn and hit him in the nose. Punches were being fired from both Finn and chop and Rae just stood there helplessly. “Stop! Stop it! Stop fighting!!” Rae yelled. Chop and Archie came running over to the fight where the dragged Charlie off of Finn and kneed I’m in the gut. “Don’t you EVER talk to her again, alright! Are we clear?!” Finn yelled “Yes yes okay!” He squeaked, clutching his stomach as he lie in a foetal position on the floor. Finn turned on his heal and grabbed Rae, walking her out of the house. When the finally got outside, it was clear how bad Finn’s face was. “Are you alright?” Finn said worried, looking directly into Rae’s eyes, lips inches from each others. “Yeah. Are you?” She said bringing up her hand to caress the side of his face. He leaned into it slightly and nodded” “Can we go home?” Rae asked, she really didn’t want to go back in there, not after that. “Yeah course. I’ll ring a cab” Finn smiled as he kissed Rae on the forehead. Izzy got a wet flannel for Finn’s face and passed it to Rae. “Can you tell the others that me and Finn are heading back. He’s called a taxi” Rae said to izzy smiling slightly. “Yeah course” izzy smiled and disappeared back inside the party.
