2024 Italian Indoor Championships U20 (Ancona)

So, I’ve been thinking over the past two days what my life would look like if I spent more time creating and less time consuming. What if I took the time to create 1 new thing every day? Even if it was just a photo. What would that lead me to? ▪︎ What I’m discovering is I’m experiencing the same emotions I find in track and field. The process of moving towards something for a particular result is basically the same thing and is producing the same emotions of joy and fulfillment. ▪︎ Here’s the kicker. The taste loses its salt quicker in sport because the goal I set is loftier to reach, but I had to grow to get to that point. Where I want to go is dependent upon where I have been. The daily accomplishment can become not as satisfying as the yearly accomplishment because I know the taste all too well. ▪︎ This isnt limited to sport, because in another circumstance the perspective might be flipped. I believe this is the reason why an artist might be so self critical of their work while it seems to be a masterpiece in the eyes of someone who just happened to step in to view a process that has been years in the making. ▪︎ INTERESTING ▪︎ Im Learning, even as I write this, that maybe the secret can be found in that child like innocence. Like every step is the first step again. Only there can the feeling be found more consistently In the innocence of the attempt. Void of judgment, full of presence. ▪︎ I wonder what will happen if i remind myself to set daily goals for walking the way I set them for photography. ▪︎ I think I’m getting somewhere, people. Wooo. . . . . .
