Pub by David Chandler NSW Govt Building Commissioner Project Intervene for Owners Corporations and Developers. Addressing serious defects in the common property of existing Strata Buildings delivered in the last 6-years, is the next initiative to be implemented under the NSW building reforms. #ProjectIntervene provides Owners Corporations with an option to work with NSW #FairTrading to require developers to remediate their defects. This post is to make #Developers aware of how they may also consider this resolution pathway. This initiative is enabled by the NSW #RABAct. The initiative will be available to #iCIRT rated developers who seek a more certain mechanism to resolve defects and demonstrate the their commitment to their reputation. To be clear, an iCIRT like rating is not an immunity pin when it comes to being held accountable to remediate serious defects.
