The day's almost up and Minki is on his way back to his room for a, well-deserved, mind you, shower and nap. Finding a way to make experimental Mark IV features function correctly on a Mark III Jaegar was not an easy task. With a power supply that couldn't provide the amount of power that was really necessary, some serious changes had to be made in a short amount of time and the Marshal had been on his back about it all day.
He rolls his eyes and sighs as he looks down at his once white shirt, now covered in grease and other materials from screwing around inside the beast of a machine the PPDC calls a Jaegar. Minki shrugs and laughs a bit because even if he gets a little dirty, he still enjoys working on whatever model Jaegars he's assigned to.
Just as he's about to swipe his keycard to gain access to his room, he hears the taps of soles of shoes against the concrete behind him. He turns around and sees three older men standing before him. They all look like their intentions are less than kind, but the young male is beyond not in the mood for this, so he rolls his eyes as he turns around and tries to swipe his keycard again.
"Hey pretty boy. Where you think you're going?" One of the men behind him taunts as he reaches over and takes the keycard from the younger male's fingers.
Minki turns around once more and sizes them all up before holding out his hand and asking for his card back. He isn't in the mood for a fight and he's not going to be the one to throw the first punch. He doesn't need any more time with the Marshal, especially if that time is filled with a lecture. "Give me my card back."
