lol, right after I replied to the original. Okay, yeah. You can jump straight into DBZ if you want to (my friends and I all started with it). Dragon Ball is good for extended character history, but not entirely necessary.

Stop following people/tags that stress you out.

Then I'd have to unfollow like half of my friends if I tried to avoid everything I dislike. (I've already had to drop some people here and there because they wouldn't tag things I've repeatedly asked them to tag, or they spend far more time whining about this and that than posting/sharing fun things. Some may call me a hypocrite for the latter right now, but I've been trying really hard to keep negativity and angsting off of here and on LJ instead.) I'd also have to stop paying attention to a bunch of tags altogether to avoid all the annoying memes. And using PostBlock on Xkit can get pretty tedious too.

I still have no idea what the Power Force actually is or why it even matters

They're supposedly a group of adult super-fans hand-picked by Saban Brands as some kind of fandom ambassadors or whatever, who get inside info on stuff, who help the company interact with the fandom, and so on. They're generally picked for their contributions to the fandom (although for the one person I complained about, I fail to see what she's contributed that's been worthy, given that I know she's written a lot of fanfic of a not-very-kid-friendly nature).

If it’s causing you to rage this hard, you need to unfollow people or message them directly asking them to tag. Tumblr should never be a source of distress. <3 <3

I actually did message someone a while back politely asking them to tag things, and the response they gave me agreeing to do it came off as reluctant at best, like they didn't want to do it because they didn't think they would remember. And they were good about it...for a while. Now, however, I think it's time to just give them the boot, because I shouldn't have to ask someone more than once to do something that's not that hard to remember to do, and I find they're generally getting more insufferable anyway. Along with a few other people who have recently become more and more insufferable, it rather reinforces my feeling that that show/manga/whatever rots people's brains. (Though there are the good fans who tag everything and even warn followers not interested in it to add something to their blacklist if they expect to post about it a lot. Why can't more people be like them?)

I freely admit that I'm prone to a flaky memory. But if a mutual follower asks people to tag something for whatever reason? Somehow I'm able to remember to do it, and it eventually becomes habit. It's why I still tag every Attack on Titan and Gundam Build Fighters post even though their run is over. If even I can do that for other shows, why can't other people do that for the stuff I ask them to?
