On the height chart I recently posted with all my new designs, to sketch the outline and just colour one character takes roughly 30 minutes minimum.
1 character = 30 mins.
So, if I do a height chart for all those characters you just listed, thatās 10 characters.
Whatās 10x30? 300!
Whatās 300 minutes? 5 hours.
This is NOT including the time it takes to sit and come up with a design, changing it as I draw, playing around with it, searching for references, etc. Which can easily add 1-2 hours. But weāre being generous here.
What am I trying to say? Well, when you send an artist a DM, or an ask like this, try and have in mind that something you think is an easy 1 hour or something can take me literally an entire day to do if I do it well. Donāt get me wrong. Iām always grateful to get asks with fave characters and such.
Iāve already said a few times I will be doing other revamps.
But even if I sat down right this second and started on those 10 characters, you wouldnāt see it until tomorrow or the day after anyway because of the time it takes me to create. Iām not an ai prompt window sweetheart. Iām a person.
I genuinely apologise if Iām coming across as ungrateful, or mean. šŖ I truly appreciate all the support and attention my art and blog gets. But I also truly donāt think people who tell me to draw what they want in this fashion realise how much time and effort goes into these things. š
