To understand the world, believing that many people around it, though very different, may have had part of the world figured out but just not enough pieces to get the full picture. What if Buddhist belief of reincarnation was one of the needed pieces, like a corner piece that everything can begin from? Another piece: fate. It shows up all over the world in different religions, beliefs, and understandings of the world and life. What if life is a predetermined process but only part of it. What if people go through life trying to reach their happy ends that are predetermined, but not the paths which get them there.
