     pre-apocalypse, griffin had a pretty regular sleep schedule. between work & school, he’d get to bed around 2 am and wake up at 9 am at the latest ( i didn’t say it was healthy ); he generally fared well during the day if he got coffee. the way he slept was pretty space-consuming. he’d sprawl out on the bed, sheets a complete mess half the time, in order to fall asleep. he probably tossed & turned during the night, but he always slept all through the night because he was a pretty heavy sleeper. he could sleep through thunderstorms, construction, the fire alarm ( once ).     post/during-apocalypse, griffin is a feather light sleeper. the slightest noise is bound to wake him up, but he’s pretty good about determining danger right away. he sleeps with a gun ( sometimes a pistol, sometimes a semi-auto ) next to him, and a knife under his pillow. he won’t let himself sprawl out unless he’s with a group. if he’s alone, he’ll fall asleep on his side & remain pretty still. survival trumps comfort.
