What is more annoying than losing customers in the process of sales? You almost convinced them to buy and then suddenly they choose not to.. While selling something face to face you can see at the reaction of the customers face if they like what you’re doing, telling or showing them. The thing is, with online selling you cannot. Quirck Education was faced with this problem, losing customers while they are almost at the point they are about to buy. Although it isn’t easy to figure out why the customers decided not to buy, Quirck Education decided to investigate it. What they found out was rather smart! It does not matter why the customers do what they do, they just do. To investigate how the customers would react with a different site they created two sites, an original and a test page. They both looked identical at first site, they just were different from each other due to one simple detail, an image. The original page had the image of a smiling student, the test page showed the logo of the Digital Media an Marketing Association (DMMA). After having analyzed all the data from both sites they found out that the test page with the DMMA logo had more than a double conversion rate than the original site. Although this does not show why people were more inclined to convert on the test page you could state yet again,
