Ok, so he probably should have said something about the fact he was back in Edens beforehand. He had meant to, but it was a bit of a rash decision. A sudden realisation that he had former in-laws there, who might have more information than he was getting anywhere else. Besides, he always planned on moving back to Edens, he just never got round to it.
