Now What Do We Do?
Thursday - September 6, 2018
In my opinion, quincunx alignments (also called "inconjunct" by some astrologers) create confusion. Not that the situation or idea is necessarily confusing, but our reaction is one of confusion. Quincunxes take energies that are great on their own, and combines them typically in ways we are not accustomed to.
There are a number of quincunx alignments in the chart today, most of them involving the fastest moving and most personal planets in the chart - the Moon, Mercury and Venus. No big deal there. But add to it that Saturn - which has been retrograde since April 17 (or 18th depending on where you are in the world) - is now DIRECT, and now our emotions, ideas and values feel scattered and confusing.
Confusion that stems from while Saturn was retrograde, as we were forced to see how undisciplined our internal self really was. Many took this information and made significant discipline and self-management changes in their Life; others ignored it. So now as Saturn goes direct on a day where there's all these confusing quincunxes today ... well it's just a lot to process, and could make you feel like running for the hills.
You just stay put; the flux created when Saturn goes direct will subside in a day or so. Until then, keep your head about you, and stay out of the way of those who didn't do their inner work and are now losing their minds!
