3. Try to explain what they might see in the mirror of Erised

A more confident, stronger version of himself standing with his family intact, sister present. This view is most likely to break him down, as he knows it is firmly out of his grasp, and is one of the few things reliably known to get him angry at everything, including himself.

6. Tell you their favourite bedtime story

Lydia, being Muggleborn, has told him stories of both magical and Muggle natures. And if I want to be truly honest, she also told him the Brothers Grimm version of Cinderella. 

It was his favourite, yes.

15. How’s it feel to have a hotdad?

Arcturus generally doesn’t mind, although he is reminded often by people who have never seen him before when they expect him to be either 1. a splitting image of his father or 2. just as well-dressed and well-groomed as Mordecai is. He doesn’t like it if people make comparisons, since he’s dedicated to being truly himself and already has low self-esteem about how he’s perceived (the hair also contributes to that) when he is indeed who he wants to be as opposed to what society expects him to be.

4. Do they have any verbal tics? Do they have trouble pronouncing certain words or getting their thoughts across clearly?

Jin speaks in a very dignified way, which is kinda intimidating to a lot of people. And he can't really express his feelings very well; he's more physical when it comes to emotion. Body language is his communicator most of the time, actually, given that his blindfold really doesn't help giving clues to his expressions.

13. Have they ever been so overwhelmed they had to stop and take a break from something? 

Bright light when his blindfold is off has made him back off and steady himself. It physically hurts his eyes since his light receptor cells are so badly damaged and will get sensory overload very easily. 

Emotionally, a sudden, drastic change in his life will leave him speechless and frozen for a while, because he has difficulty trying to adjust to it and it takes all of his energy to adjust to it.

14. Are they a team player or do they prefer to be solo?

He's very flexible. Team or solo, he can do both. He's not afraid to pull out if he sees that it's going to take more than just one person to get something done and put it off until he can find someone else to help him. This has a lot to do with his blindness; he is well aware of his limits as someone who can't see, and he is not ashamed to back down or retreat if confronted with those limits when alone. He also works together, taking charge but ready to let the others take charge as well if they can handle it.

20. If your character was allowed to murder one person without any consequences, who would that person be and why?

Jin has long since realised that murder doesn't make the world better. He would, honestly, refuse even if he was allowed. And bribed. And threatened at swordpoint. He really won't do it. 

21. Your character has been granted 3 wishes; what would they wish for and why?

Wish 1: A good life for the children he teaches. Some of their families are poor, and they pay him in crops they grow rather than money. He wants them to grow up strong and never forget where they come from.

Wish 2: That his eyes look normal despite his blindness. Very oddly (and I asked him this), he said that he doesn't mind being blind; he is more concerned about his eyes looking at least normal to others more than whether they function or not.

Wish 3: For those less fortunate to have their lives turn for the better. Jin is charitable and loves sparing his time to help others more in need than he is. He knows how it feels, and just because he's got the luxury of his own home does not mean he's going to sit there and take it for granted. He'll give back to the community, but it pains him to know that his limits prevent him from truly dedicating his time to helping others.

29. Does your character get restless when things are too quiet or do they favour solitude and silence? Why?
