I’m in the process of redoing all of Brandish’s stuff but I can’t pinpoint how I want to say it all so have some quick things about her!

Brandish was born in December of 1820 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Her family was really poor so they did whatever they could to survive in the city.

Her mother was a seamtress and her dad was a baker.

When Brandish was nineteen, a man named Dima Zakharov asked for her father’s blessing in order to marry her.

Her father said yes, thinking that since the Zakharov family was rich she’d be better off.

Boris was very much wrong, the Zakharov family ended up using her as a sacrifice to the devil. Brandish was seen as a being of purity by the family, when the reality is she wasn’t at all.

While she was dying on the altar, the devil showed himself before her and offered her a deal, she took it. He gave her immortality and the ability to use witchcraft in exchange for her soul and yearly offerings.

She was reborn on the altar space, her hair going from onyx black to snow white, her eyes from a muddy brown to baby blue, and her skin grew paler. She ended up killing the Zakharov family as her first offering, saving Dima for last. She told him she wanted a divorce before stabbing him in the heart.

Brandish framed common crooks for the murder in order to save herself from the authorties.

She lived in the house for several decades before taking the family’s money and moving to Vladivostok, this was months before the fall of Saint Petersburg.

In the early 1970s she no longer wanted to live in Russia, she ended up relocating to the United States.

Mortem was created by the founding goddess Scitpmnes of Caleum and Calcom.

Mortem was the fifth god created.

She’s the goddess of death and despair.

Scitpmnes created Mortem to balace out life on Calcom.

Yet the people of Calcom grew to fear Mortem and didn’t praise her the way they did the other gods. So Mortem grew to hate the people of the island and brought them hardship.

Out of anger, Mortem created what we now know as the four horsemen of the apocalypse, Bellum ( War ), Fames ( Famine ), Morbus ( Pestilence ) and Caedes ( Death ). In Calcom they’re seen as minor gods and are Mortem’s children.

Mortem made the four horsemen out of human remains, jewels from Inferos, and branches from the Tree of Ages.

Because of her defiance against life itself, Scritpmnes created another goddess to even out Mortem, and that was Amare, the goddess of life and love.

Mortem was outraged with Amare’s creation and sought out to bring harm to the other goddess.

With Amare not being the fighting type, rather the kind to flee at any sign of danger, Mortem used this to her advantage, constantly catching Amare off guard in order to mentally torture her.

When Mortem had noticed that Amare had fallen in love with a human named Cor, she sent a snake to kill him while he worked in the fields.

Amare had been watching him as he was doing this and witnessed him die, she was devastated by his death. He was her favorite patron.

Her magic type is Water Nymph Slayer.

Her mother was a nomad who spent her life traveling.

Eira was born in the temple of the water goddess Sanitatem, her mother died while giving birth to her.

The water nymphs who protected the temple raised her and taught Eira their ways.

Her primary caretaker growing up was a nymph named Influit, she taught Eira the ways of the nymphs and even their magic.

While growing up, less and less people showed up to the temple to pray and worship Sanitatem, so the nymphs slowly started to die out.

While Influit was on her death bed, she passed on the last of her magic power to Eira, blessing her with Nymph Slayer magic and the markings Eira bears on her cheeks and chest, and the white streak of hair she has.

After the passing of Influit, Eira remained at the temple, taking care of it in hopes people would return to seek out the Goddess.

When Eira was seventeen, Eques had found her at the temple and asked her to accompany her on her travels. Eira agreed.

Eira’s the first Nymph slayer to be seen in over a hundred years.

She’s also the second member of Glacialis Corcillum.

Eira has ADHD combined.
