#quickie wedding

It was a busy day today in the Chapel as we had three weddings! The first two were a “Quickie” couple as we like to call them at the Edgewater. They were issued both couples the Marriage License and performed a quick Ceremony.

We also had a full Christian Ceremony later in the afternoon for Stacie and Christopher. Both the bride and groom were very loving, fun and outgoing. The Chapel was at max capacity with 25 of their closest friends and family. They performed the Sand Ceremony, which is similar to the Unity Candle, and is very popular for Beach Weddings. Stacie had a problem with getting her fair share of sand in the container, there was red sand all over the floor! “Those are the Lost Memories” we said. That’s what we call “lost sand” that can’t fit into the container.

She wants me to get a white dress from anywhere to wear when Michael and I get married next week. And she wants to dress up too. Even though it's supposed to just to get the formalities out of the way so we can live together alone, she still wants it to be something a little special. I'll probably find something in Ross in like a heartbeat haha. Just gonna get something cute and short. And I'll probably get that cheapo veil they have at WalMart for kicks. Hopefully gonna get Michael pants too, since he only has khaki work pants right now that fit.

Need to figure out hair and makeup for fun too. And what we're gonna do for food. And we need cake. Or brownies. I'll make brownies. Cus Michael will actually eat those.
