Lego has created a very stereotypical line for girls. Lego was originally marketed as a gender neutral line but sometime around the early 1990's, they turned their focus towards boys. Then in 2012, they said they were making a line specifically for girls. They then came out with Lego friends , a line covered in pink and purple. Not only did they restrict the colors, but they also changed the type of play to be more focused on socialization unlike the boy's Lego toys which focus on building.
