who tf designed this building? Who would do that and why? What was the reason for this?

I’m surprised this monstrosity is even structurally sound.
Admittedly I didn’t think through having to carry the toboggan up 10k steps in order to use it. Winnowing isn’t an option, we have to do this the manual way. Keeping it a solo rescue mission for speed and secrecy. As for the architect… whiskey tango foxtrot.

I see… I hope your quads are in tip-top shape, then, because it’s a long walk up to the top of this tower (unless you can fly). Is there a convenient time that the guards change, or folks are perhaps paying slightly less attention to allow you to slip in unnoticed? I would allow several hours to go up the stairs, taking time for hydration and breaks. You may also want to consider a sleeping bag, in case you’re not much of a stairs person, and an audiobook or three to keep you entertained.
And truly… this building sounds like a serious violation of safety and accessibility. I would recommend reaching out to your local magistrate to lodge a complaint.
