They met at a farm party! :D

Uriel's dad, Father Alexander, is basically friends with everyone, so he often gets invited to local or more private parties and such, and Uriel decided he'd tag along

Kian just likes to hang around the farm areas sometimes because animals don't him feel scared

Basically, Uriel spotted Kian wandering around beyond the property all alone, but he looked like he was sort of enjoying the party from afar, and being the kind softie that he is, Uriel went to talk to him

He offered to talk to the party host about letting Kian officially join the party, but Kian got extremely uncomfortable with the idea, so Uriel didn't, but what he did do was take an interest on this new friend of his

Information about a big change I made in "In Mortality"! :D

(Even if I did talk about her, you probably don't remember Nemesis anymore, so that still works for me muahahaha)

Nemesis was initially going to kill three people before killing her crush after he rejects her, because she was suffering from delusions caused by heavy lead poisoning, a metal far more popular, and dangerous, in the early 20th century

But now her crush has been changed to be her actual lover, and the other three people are no longer present in the story. It's also convenient because her character is way too selfish and vain to hold a respectable job, which in the original draft was how she came into contact with so much lead to begin with

Anyway, after meeting someone she believes is her long lost father that she never met, and thinking she has a younger half-sister, feeling like her "dad" has replaced her way too quickly, her nasty side comes out and she plans on having a not-so-friendly family reunion, but her lover tries to intervene and states she will only do it over his dead body, and Nemesis takes it a bit too literally

She does end up regretting it, a lot, but as she tends to do in-story, she just deflects the blame onto someone else, in this case, the man she believes is her long lost dad
