Feminism gave me the courage to go back to school and to decide to apply to grad school. I'm hoping to get a PhD in Neuroscience. Also, for the parenting part, I tell my kids that there are no such things as boy stuff and girl stuff and I encourage them to pursue anything that interests them. Consequently, I just bought my daughter a Darth Vader costume and she almost never takes it off. :)
